What We Recycle
If you need to get rid of it, we can take care of it. Up to 80% of the materials brought into American Recycling and Disposal are recycled and reused. We take most of what is brought in to larger, off-site facilities that specialize in breaking down materials into reusable forms. Other items are sold or given away to folks we meet with unique needs. Here's a list of exactly what we can take off your hands. If you don't see something mentioned, feel free to ask.
Dirt
A little dirt never hurt. The same goes for sand and landscape waste.
Concrete
Making way for new sidewalks and driveways.
Ferrous Metal
Anything magnetic with Iron in it (iron, steel etc.).
Non-ferrous Metal
Just the opposite. Anything non-magnetic without iron in it (copper, aluminum etc.).
Asphalt
Streets and schoolyard blacktops, may you rest in pieces.
Plastic
Plastic is in everything. It'd be harder not to recycle it.
Wood
Telephone poles, furniture, old drum stick collections... The usual.
Landscape
Mowed, raked and pulled make it easy to chuck.
Paper
Paper covers rock. So does Paper's cousin, Cardboard.
Others
These rogues refused to be categorized: tires, electronics, glass, roofing shingles and so on.
